Communal dining is enthusiastically embraced in Greece.  In a Greek restaurant, diners might be offered up to forty meze dishes (bite size tidbits).  They are a celebration of a way of life steeped in tradition.  In this class we’ll explore a number of traditional meze dishes and the ingredients that make them.

Meze Dishes:  White Bean Hummus with Pita,Cheese Saganaki with Lemon Sauce, Warm Manouri Salad with Kalamata Vinaigrette, Hortopita (Wild Greens Pie) and Shrimp Saganaki with Tomato & Feta.  For dessert: Karydopita with Greek Yogurt & Orange Marmalade.
